A long time supporter of Meridale, Janet now holds the post of Chairman on the Board of Trustees.

A retired school teacher, Janet, along with many other skills has been successful in gaining a number of significant grants for the centre.

Janet is the first woman to hold the office of Chairman of Meridale since its formation in 1965.

Lesley is our current Vice Chairman on the Board of Trustees. She is only the 2nd female person to hold the office, the first being her immediate predacessor who has gone on to become our current Chairman.

Lesley has been a great supporter of Meridale over the years and has contributed a considerable amount to the junior youth clubs.

Alex joined Meridale as a member of Kidz Klub before moving up to Midway Club. He is now responsible for all admissions and registration to the Meridale youth clubs. He also carries out essential maintenance work at Meridale, ensuring everything is in correct and working order.

Alex is a Trustee in the Organisation and currently holds the post of Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

Bernard and his wife Pauline have been supporters of Meridale for over 30 years. Bernard took an active role in the Meridale Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme assisting on training days and experditions.

Bernard served as Vice Chairman and then Chairman respectively. In recognition of his long service and unwavering support to Meridale, Bernard was appointed by the Board of Trustees to the newly created office of Life President.

A retired librarian, Jen is carrying on the family tradition of supporting Meridale. Her mother and father, Dorothy and Bill were very prominent workers for Meridale - both serving on the Board of Trustees for many years.

Jen has assumed responsibility for maintaining the website.

One of the youngest members of the team, Oliver is the compositor for the Meridale Newsletter working as part of the team to produce our important bi-monthly flagship document.

Albert Thomas is the youngest member of the Meridale Team. Attending Meridale on a temporary contract on Friday in early 2018 at the Meridale InfoCentre, he soon took to everyone and everyone in turn took to him. The Management decided that his contract would be extended and is now full time on a Friday keeping the humans calm who come into Meridale.
