The boys' 24 hour table tennis marathon has become one of the highlights of self fundraising for the club. It is normally held in early spring. Celebrity players request places in the event months beforehand, and enjoy impressing the audience with their ping-pong ball skills!

The event completed its 45th year in 2015 and has now become an event which will take place on an ad-hoc basis.

In many cases the marathon has become a family tradition, with sons following in their fathers footsteps, becoming members of the select club of Ping-Pongers. Over the years this event has raised thousands of pounds for good causes alongside raising money for the club.
